Collected in 1967, Malmaison is THE Empire model by Christofle.
The Château de Malmaison, near Paris, was the favorite stay of Napoleon Bonaparte and the Empress Joséphine.
The leaves of water, the openwork lotus leaf, the symmetry of the decor are typical of the Empire style, largely inspired by Antiquity.
It is one of the most complete models of Christofle, the only one to offer a caviar service.
