Hans van Bentem has created for Baccarat a series of three sculptures in a numbered edition, inspired by the progress of architecture throughout history. The first piece in the collection, Number 1, looks back at the classic codes of Greco-Roman architecture and symbolises man's need to reach for the stars. The crystal tower, hand-cut by Baccarat artisans, reflects all the magic of these projects.
